Fall Cake

This is a snickerdoodle cake with cinnamon buttercream. The cinnamon buttercream made a good background for an earthy cake - it kind of looks like recycled paper :)

This is really pretty! Are the leaves piped directly on the cake? They are really good! Beautiful!

Sure, I just used tip #104. I made the leaves and then I used a toothpick to pull the icing to make the ends of the leaves pointed

This is really nice! The purple flowers really make this pop. You have an eye for color. I wouldn't mind having the recipe for the cake and frosting!!!

Thanks for the comments! The cake is simple. I got it out of the cakemix doctor book. It is a white cake mix with 1 cup whole milk added, 1 stick of melted butter, 3 large eggs, 1 tsp vanilla and 2 tsp cinnamon. The frosting is buttercream made whatever way you like with 1tsp vanilla and 1 tsp cinnamon for flavoring!
