Doowop

I loved how the figures came out, but not so thrilled with the building. Stacked two 10 inch square cakes. Top cake was Chocolate Cake with raspberry chocolate ganache filling. Bottom cake was Vanilla Cake with Cannoli filling. Cakes are separated by a board and doweled. Not happy with all of the bumps and messy edges, but I had issues moving the cake to the board and into the fridge. I didn't measure the board and then found that it was too big for the bottom of my refrigerator! Had to move the cake off so that it could stay in there overnight and then replaced it before delivering it to my friend. It was for a friends dad who rejoined his doowop group after 20 years. The building is supposed to be like the one that they used to sing in front of in NY many years ago.
