This cake was actually a team effort. My friend wanted to learn how to work with MMF and learn some techniques making flowers etc. She sent me a picture of a similar cake(sorry don't know the original designer) I thought she was CRAZY and told her she didn't realize how much work this is. She's from NC and came up to visit and was planning on having her daughters birthday party here while she was up. Well I put her to work along with her niece and my daughter and here is the final result. We loved it and were very happy with it and my friend had plenty of practice with fondant and gumpaste.:) All covered with MMF, the flowers and insects are made of gumpaste. My daughter made the name free hand from fondant.
