A doctor friend of mine asked me to make her a 25th anniversary cake celebrating 25 years of her practice. The bottom layer is dark chocolate, middle is white, and the top is lemon. The cake is covered in fondant. The writing is gum paste and the decorations are fondant/gum paste mixed. The silver on the instruments are painted with silver luster mixed with lemon juice. She absolutely loves penguins so I added a penguin on the top wearing a headband mirror.
