This is the 14 inch birthday cake I made for my brother's 50th.....also, 2 of my nephews turned 27 the same week, so we made it a triple celebration! The cake is red velvet (Our family's favorite) with traditional red velvet frosting: Evaporated milk, granulated sugar, vanilla, Crisco, and real butter.
