This was a cake I made for my daughter's 12th birthday. Bottom layer is 12x12. Cake is a dark fudge cake with chocolate mousse filling. Top cake is 8x8 champagne flavored with white chocolate mousse. The chessboard is made out of white and dark chocolate with orange flavoring. Chess pieces, apple,ribbon and flower are all made of fondant. ( This was mine and my DH's first time working with fondant) DH made all pieces as well as the "twilight" font, which BTW is called Zephyr and can be downloaded from the web. TFL.
