Atlantis Hotel

Atlantis Hotel on Cake Central

This cake is a replica of the Atlantis Hotel in the Bahamas. The couple it was for was getting married there and they asked me to include the flying fish fountain that is in front of the hotel since that is where ceremony was. Each tower is made layers of cake that was covered in fondant. The arched walkway between the two buildings was made out of a rice krispy treat covered in fondant. The windows are airbrushed on. The palm trees are hand made out of gumpaste and the flying fish fountain is hand molded out of fondant. The cake board was also covered in fondant to look like the stone walkway leading up the building and brown sugar was added to look like "sand".

We very often rest in the Maldives, but we never managed to see it all. We always rent accommodation in different places, and thanks to the Maldives Top Resorts website, finding maldives hotels is not a problem at all. The site has a huge selection, with different pricing policies. Often there are discounts, which makes trips even more profitable.
