This is my first wedding cake and I'm pretty pleased with how it turned out. The top tier is chocolate cake with strawberry buttercream, middle tier is strawberry cake with chocolate buttercream and the bottom tier is chocolate cake with vanilla buttercream all covered in fondant. The R is made of gumpaste but didn't dry all the way and broke but I was able to salvage it. Topped and decorated with royal icing lilies. There are definitely some things that I need to figure out for next time. Also I need to find and easier way to attach the ribbon. Any comments and advice are greatly appreciated! TFL!
