So this was my first attempt to make anything other than a single layer cake out of a box with no frosting. I have even burnt canned soup before. Seriously. My boyfriend's daughter asked me to make her cake, so I started looking on-line for ideas and I stumbled across the wonderfully beautiful stuff called fondant. I looked over the tutorials and thought, hmmm, I could do this! It doesn't look TOO hard. HAH! A week later and I got the above result. It was very, very hard and it certainly doesn't look as gorgeous as the other cakes on here, but for a first try, I have to say I am a bit proud. :o)
