This is my first time trying this cake. I promised my son I would make his 2nd grade class a cake if he got on Green (excellent) all week. ( Mind you that was a miracle for him lol.)So he begged me for a spiderman cake. He loves spiderman 3 so I tried to make a cake showing Spiderman being consumed with that black ichy stuff turning him into "Venom" I just finished it at 1:30 am so he has no idea how it's going to look. I think he is going to love it. ******PLEASE GIVE ADVICE ON MMF****This is my second attempt at it. I am doing something wrong this cake took forever. My fondant always looks dry so I add crisco to my hands and knead it and it still turns out awful then it ends up to soft and is hard to put on the cake. It's not pliable like it's supposed to be. When I took the first pic I was ready to cry thinking I wouldn't be able to make it for my son. But after the end result I seriously cried( no joke) and kept thanking the LORD "THANK YOU JESUS." I am self taught and every cake is practice for me. I feel like HE brought me through this one very well. Sorry for the long winded description just proud of myself.. Please leave advice Thank You to all who comment I appreciate you!!!!!!
