ok, this is the cake. and here is the story: after reading cakehelp (sara's) instructions for RIT i decided to give it a try. after four attempts and lots, i mean LOTS of help from sara, the practice RIT was the only one of four left for me to use. this was not the original look for the cake. kinda bummin. but i do love RIT and now that i have a full understanding of it (i think) i want to try more. a million thank-yous to sara (cakehelp)-you sure live up to your screen name. vanilla bean cake with double chocolate frosting. smurfette if RIT on 50/50. i used rock candy for borders. (btw im sooooooooo glad this cake is done!!) it was just one of those everything will go wrong cake. cake was for my neighbors 15 year old daughter.
