This was a last minute cake ordered for a dinner party. Wish more people got together and had nice cakes for their gatherings ;-) This was an 8" chocolate cake filled with my favorite Amaretto Espresso buttercream filling. The lid is choclate fondant as are the brown stripes and the other is plain ole' fondant.

Tissue paper made of gum paste. Well..I should've said a bad timing cake, as I had a full work day on Friday, full Saturday and had very little time to work on it...They picked it up today early am.

If the lid is solid fondant, wouldn't that be really heavy?? Is it fondant covering something else? Fabulous Cake!!

Beautiful (as if anything you touch wouldn't be!). The brown and pink color combo is a personal favorite of mine!
