Louis Vuitton Purse was created for someone that just loves Louis Vuitton. Everything to do with the company. I was sent a photo of this purse that is from the latest fashion show in Paris and asked if I could recreate it out of cake. I was told the purse is not out yet in stores but the girl wants one badly so so here it is. I hope you enjoy

This was my favorite because it has wrinkles and slumps. Looks just like a real, normal purse. Congratulations!

Superb! I want to know like some of the others, how do you create the logos? This has been my desire ...to do purse cakes. Would love any tips on how to create one.

Thank you for the great comments. I have received a lot of questions on how I made the logos and such. I did it the old fashioned way. I actually printed out a template from a purse on the internet and then cut them out by hand with an exacto knife. I am sure there are easier ways to do this but I have yet to find it.t

Beautiful Cake!!! Could you tell me how you went about shaping the cake? Do you have any dowels/cardboard for support embedded in the cake?
kakebakery 10/26/09 at 6:36pm
The shapping of the cake was all done free hand carving. As for support there is a single PVC pipe in the middle to make sure it does not tip and it is 3 tiers so there are dowels in the first two tiers to support the weight
