Small Wedding Cake

A lady was getting married and asked for a small wedding cake for 10 people. I came up with this and only charged her $20 or so. She was so rude when she picked the cake up, saying that she hated the flowers! She said that she was going to remove them and put fresh flowers on it! I've never felt so insulted. I still think it's pretty.

It looks nice. I would have taken the flowers off the cake and told her go ahead. The flowers alone would have been at least 20.

My goodness!!! What a rude person. The cake looks fantastic. In most cakes shops in Victoria you'd be charged $20 for the flowers alone!! You did a great job, dont worry about her.

Thanks. I think I was just too shocked to say do anything about what she was saying. It's all good. I have another pretty cake for my folder now :D

For what you charged her, she should have been more than satisfied, the flowers make the cake in my opinion. I agree with the cakemaker's statement. I bet her guests loved the cake, and she smiled graciously as they commented on its beauty.

i bet she didnt do it when someone else saw it. its nice and for 20$ she's crazy. thats nice for 10 people else where just for that is a lot more than you charged her.its great! :lol:
