Birthday cake for my two year old daughter. I guess these figures are only known in Europe, it is originally French (we are living in the Netherlands). The cake is biscuit filled with cream, pears and red berries jam. All the figures are marzipan. The cake is also covered with marzipan.
Oh how I miss them! I grew up in Canada and the Barbapapa cartoons were shown here!
OMG! That is so cute and very original! Love it! Great job!
I remember watching them as a kid here in the US - loved them! great job!
I love this cake! I too grew up in Canada and watched it all the time. Adorable, great job.
Clickety-click! Barbar-trick! LOVE this cake!!!
Like everyone else I just love this cake - mostly because of childhood memories (Denmark!) but also because you've done a smashing job!!!

One word: AWESOME. My almost 2- and 4-year olds are sitting on my lap watching the Barbapapas on Youtube while I browse cakes⦠Both of them squealed in utmost delight when your cake materialized on the screen. I think Iâm making a Barbacake for the little oneâs b-day. Thanks for the inspiration, your cake looks very dynamic and elaborate in the details!
