Cookie Plaque

I think they turned out great. What did you use for the letters? Fondant? Gumpaste? Combo of each?

Thanks!!! I used fondant, but you can't see the powdery mess from the powdered sugar.. I did another cookie plaque last night and it turned out much better, as far as, the letters are concerned after watching Edna's UTUBE on how to do the letter tappits.

I think they look great! Sharon Zambito recommends letting the rolled fondant /gp strips dry a bit before cutting the letters. They cut pretty cleanly this way -as I learned:)

Thanks sweetiesbykim, It's people like you, Sharon, Edna and many others that help noviices like my self to succeed. I in fact did some more of the funky letter and script tappits today and they are now coming out PERFECT!!!! And now I can say that I LOVE to use the tappits. So thatnks again. :D
