This is a 10" and 7" stacked dummy covered in fondant. Hand painted with thinned purple airbrush color. Tiara is gumpaste painted with pink sheen and the shoes are gumpaste with disco dust. Large pearls are airbrushed with pearl, small ones are rolled in disco dust. This was my very first dummy cake I took it to ICES.

CSM: Great looking cake! I absolutely love the shine on the shoes and the shoes themselves. Your gp tiara looks great too. As far as critiquing goes, it doesn't look like your cake board was big enough and/or to small for the base. Did you offset the cake itself because it looks like more room in the front then the sides (especially the left side). Also IMHO the fondant balls look a wee bit to big for this cake. Overall I think the cake as a whole looks fantastic. I hope you enjoy your new toy!...

The cake is set back on the board on purpose - it is even - the picture shot isn't!! I was going for the little girl princess into moms jewelery box (thus the "broken" stand of pink pearls.

CSM: This is darling! The shoes and tiara look great and I love the marbled fondant! Critiqiue wise I agree with xstitcher about size of the border.

CSM: The tiara is one of the best I've seen. I love the sparkle you've given the shoes too. Adding another punch of color might have helped the other colors pop. Maybe a yellow or a brighter pink?

Very pretty. Love the tiara. Any little girl would love this.

CSM: Such a cute cake. I agree about the balls, understand where your thought process was. I think the top tier white balls should not be "lined up" in order to give it that random look. Sparkle is adorable. I'm envious of your crown.

CSM: Love the sparkle of the shoes! immediately draws your attention. The tiara is beautifully done! I do have to agree the fondant balls are a bit big, and the off placement of the cake is distracting. I like the purple marble effect, though in picture it is barely able to be seen?

CSM: Very nice - I love your gumpaste tiara! I would have liked to have seen the shoes done in the same colour of pink as the tiara but that is just my opinion :)

CSM: very cute and simple design- nice clean work and your tiara is wonderful. I am jealous of your almost perfect balls.

CSM: Ohhhh I love your tiara! The balls seem a little big but the rest of the cake turned out really well! Nice job!

Oh yes, love the way you have the cake sitting toward the back of the cake board.
