I SO didn't want to make this cake! A friend of DD's wanted a cake for a friend turning 30. To HER, 30 is over the hill so she thought a black cake with a snarky comment would be funny. Go figure! She absolutely wanted NO color, just black and white, no flowers, nothing. I did my best. Half sheet french vanilla with vanilla-almond buttercream. TFL.
