My "Ode to Planet Cake (my favorite cake designers)" cheetah cake. I loved doing this one. I airbrushed a light tan stripe first, then painted the pattern on with food color/vodka. This was my first figure, I was really happy since it looked like the girl it was intended to look like, dumb luck I guess. I definitely think it is easier/fun to make your figures cartoon-like with less is more as far as features go but just IMHO. This was a 6" cake with a zebra pattern inside the cake (wish I got a picture of it cut) - my daughter called it "the cheetah ate a zebra cake", bottom tier with an 8" lemon cake w/lemon curd.
