This cake was made for a girl who loves purple and music. It's an 6"-8" pound cake covered with buttercream and decorated with fondant. The 16 on top is fondant that I dried in my food dehydrator and dusted with a lavender pearl dust. The pictures were printed out on a laser printer and I laminated them to protect them from grease, etc,. The pictures and the numbers were attached using melted white chocolate (lollipop sticks attached to the numbers). This was a fun cake to make and was inspired by another cake I found on CC which I think was originally a Pink Cake Box design. I hope the birthday girl loves it, it's a complete surprise!
