I was approached about making a very specific birthday cake. Granted, this was on a Monday, for a birthday on Wednesday. Anyway, seems the family tradition is an angel food cake decorated in the buttercream recipe from the back of the powdered sugar box. Since it's just as easy to purchase angel food cake, and I was informed that green was the favorite color of the birthday woman...here is what I came up with. The daisies are fondant and gumpaste mix.
