Letter H Cookies

Letter H Cookies on Cake Central

I finally got a chance to make the royal icing Antonia74 posted and used the no fail sugar cookie recipe. I HIGHLY recommend both!! These were very time consuming but it was fun making them and they were not as hard to do as I feared. I made 3 dozen of these and took them in for my daughter's kindergarten snack time. Their color for the week is brown and the letter of course is H.

This is great! I hope I have the patience and that I make the time when my daughter is in school to do the above and beyond sort of thing. Really nice job, Mom!

Thanks! I am just now getting back into this, I had my hand full when mine were real little. They are 5 (almost 6) & 4. I am sure you will get back into it also. My daughter helped me roll them out and cut them. Then she handed me each H so I could ice them, well until she got tired of it, LOL!

Stogz, they tasted out of this world!! Everyone said they were the best they had ever had. The icing wasn't too hard either which I was afraid it would be. stylishbite, I didn't outline them first. I say go for it, GOOD LUCK. It was a lot of work but fun at the same time.

Great job!! This is also a wonderful idea!! I will have to talk to my sons' preschool teacher and see if she would mind. They do a color and a letter at the same time. Glad they turned out for you!!
