The cake in the book was square, but I made it round. Also, it is smaller than an 8 in, so that my huband (who is diabetic) can have a small piece as well.

It is white cake (Betty Crocker), light layer of Butter Cream (wilton recipe) and strawberry preserves (smuckers) for the filling...I am very proud for my first fondant cake, it was fun and I can only imagine where I will go from here.
