This is the first cake I've ever decorated. My daughter wanted a Tinkerbell cake for her 4th birthday. I searched high and low for a tinkerbell doll and came up empty. I ended up using a Cinderella Princess doll instead and hot gluing sparkly pipe cleaners on for the wings. I used a combination of cake pans instead of forking out the money for a dress mold. I have had so many positive comments that I wish that I did buy the dress mold since I don't think this will be my last! I had way too much fun making this cake. It was as much for me as it was for her.

To make the dress for these dolls all you need to do is by the large glass pyrex mesuring cup and it hold a cake mix. After you take out the cake. I have the dolls that are stick dolls, only have bodys arms head, buy at any cake store or Mickles. Stick it down into the cakr=e and decorate the cake and dolls body. Easy to do. c
