This one I designed for 2 bankers who were very meticulous... from the sponsor cake giveaways,to it's packaging, cake tasting and their photo for the cake! But it was all worth the try! I used fresh flowers here , water fountain and played around with tulle and series lights to get that dreamy look. This is a satellite cake. Hope you like this.

looks nice... but in the next time you can use small lights... like christmas lights.. congratulations..
Cynch 7/25/05 at 10:59pm
Actually, I did. It's christmas series behind the tulles... to give that dreamy effect. But the spot lights are always needed in all our wedding cake reception display to give the cake the right attention it needs. This is something we do all the time. The series gives the dreamy cake look. The spotlights highlight the cake for the entire duration of the wedding reception. Without it - the cake can be forgotten. No matter how nice and grandeur it looks.

I am sorry, although it is a gorgeous cake, that is not why you should but spotlights on the cake. The wedding day is not about the cake, it is about the couple getting married, the reception is just to have friends and family there to celebrate the wedding day with the couple.

I think if the spotlights were ok with the Bride and Groom then go for it. It really presents your cake well. Beautiful, Beautiful job!! I bet you were pleased and I'm sure your couple was impressed!
