My version of R2D2, thanks to all the CCer's who answered my PM's with their guidance! He was very labor intensive and time consuming, but I am happy with they way he turned out (with the exception of the legs, not real thrilled with those). My hubby made me an awesome stand so that he could recline to the proper angle safely (see additional photos) The stand is made from a rigid pitcher cut down to an arc and the base and various hardware to support it.
