Laptop Cake

Laptop Cake on Cake Central

This is a laptop cake I did for a groom's cake back in Nov. Just got around to getting it on my computer and uploaded. I hope it shows up with the faces cropped out.

That is AWESOME!! Congratulations on a job well done! I have been thinking of making a computer for my hubby the programmer! This is fantastic!

The screen is a choc chip cookie on a cardboard, frosted in buttercream and covered with edible image. I then wrapped the fondant around from the back. I cheated on making it stand up. I wrapped 2 bricks in cake foil and put them behind there for it to lean against.

very cool, I am thinking about a similar groom's cake for my brother in law. What did you use for the keys?
