Squared, Pearled Wedding Cake on Cake Central

14", 12", 10", 8" square tiers, iced in B/C. Diamond impression mat used and white fondant pearls on sided of cake. Silver fondant pearls around border.

This is very beautiful! I love the diamond look. Did you make the pearls by hand or did you use a mold? I am doing my cousin's wedding cake like this (only round) so any suggestions you have would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you. I used a mold to form the pearls. I then rolled 2 pearls together for the side pearls, and 5 pearls together for the bottom pearls. They were all luster dusted about 1/2 hour after rolling them out.

Would you mind sharing where you got the diamond impression mat and how you got the pearls to stay on so evenly?

Impression mat ordered through www.earlenescakes.com You just place the pearls at every diamond juncture after using the impression mat on the sides of the cake. Used B/C icing dots to attach pearls.
