I used the Wilton BC recipe. The only thing I modified was the flavoring. Be sure to make sure the top of your cake and back of your transfer is level, otherwise you will get cracks in it.

Did you lay the BCT on the cake first, then the pecan icing around that? Or was it laid on the pecan icing? BCT stands for Butter Cream Transfer.
I iced the entire cake in chocolate buttercream. Added the borders, then filled w/ the pecan icing and finally added the transfer on top.
