Sophia asked for a Jasmine cake for her 6th birthday. We made it together. Towers are made of ginger snaps and vanilla wafers covered with fondant. Onion domes on the towers are also made out of fondant, hollowed out on the inside to make them lighter. The cake itself (in the middle) is chocolate with buttercream frosting. The big dome on top of the cake is made out of cake with the top half shaped out of fondant, then covered with buttercream to match the cake itself (in the middle) which is chocolate with buttercream frosting.
