I made this for my inlaws daughter. The bottom cake and 3 mini castles are a Madeira cake, the bolders are made of sugarpaste. On the 3 mini castles when you lift their tower cones, I've placed lots of candies there.

This is great. Did you get this from The Essential Guide to Cake Decorating? I have this cake due later this month. Was it difficult to make?

Yes, it is from the Essential Guide. This was not difficult at all, the smaller castles cakes were cooked in 14oz veggie cans, I did have a time getting them to rise though.
