My son wanted a bowling party for his 6th birthday. He loved this cake. The cake is iced with buttercream and covered in fondant. The bowling pins are rice krispie treats covered in buttercream and fondant. A bowling ball cake was supposed sit between pins, but I was not happy with the way ball looked so I left it off. I am very pleased with the cake anyway.
