This was the cake I made for my final exam for Advanced Pastries class in college. Each layer was covered in fondant and the pilleres, plates, and wishing well were all made of pastillage, and the orchids were made from gumpaste. All parts of our cake had to be edible. The butterflies were made by making royal icing runouts.
