I actually made this cake at Christmas time since mini candy canes for the Peppermint Forest were easy to find. It is a 12 inch square cake iced in buttercream. The gingerbread people and cards are Rolled Buttercream (dried several days). The road is starburst candy. The characters are pictures I printed, laminated and attached to toothpicks. You cant see it very well because its in the back but I cut out the letters of Candyland with red and white marbled Rolled Buttercream.
