This was a fun one. It is a key lime margarita cake with creamy key lime filling. This is covered in fondant that was hand painted with food coloring and paintbrush to create backdrop. Then a buttercream transfer was placed on top of backdrop. The waves on sides of cake was buttercream frosting. The sand was graham cracker crumbs and all decorative items on the sides were made from gumpaste, except the bottle tops on 4 sides. All items tied into Buffett songs somehow (salt shaker, lime, margaritas, cheeseburger, Monday on calendar, brown eyed girl, beer bottle, flip flops, etc).
