SIL wanted to make a cake for her son's band awards/graduation. She baked and designed and I showed her how to do the stacking/decorating. It was fun. At the last minute I decided to put a cap on the topper, and I was really happy with how that turned out. We had some difficulty with tilting and bulging, I think because the icing melted during a pre-assembly transport.
