I made this cake for my husbands 40th Birthday. It is a double layer chocolate cake iced with BC. Each layer is carved from a 16x16 cake using a template that I made out of posterboard. Top layer is several inches shorter in the front to make room for the piano keys which are Kit Kats (white chocolate and mini dark chocolate). Lid is cardboard painted with black food coloring and propped up with a dowel rod. Piano and bench are supported with Grecian Pillars spray painted black. Foot pedals and rose are MMF. Foot pedals are dry brushed with silver dust.
