Chocolate Italian Meringue Buttercream - First Try!
So delicious, I really love this. May have said bye-bye to powdered sugar forever. It's like silk on the tongue. Wow, why didn't I make this before? Oh yes, the cake is devils food with shaved bittersweet chocolate in the batter. This IMBC almost makes me forget the cake part.

update: all the adults went crazy for this frosting, the kids ate it but said they missed the 'fudgy stuff'. Maybe it's a texture thing?.... I did find it to be quite fragile, it began to wilt after an hour or so at room temp. This likely has more to do with my first attempt, than with the frosting itself!
