Book & Basket

BOttom cake is 1/2 strawberry 1/2 carrot 12x18 4" thick. I used a crusting cream cheese icing recipe I found here on CC. The basket & grad cap cakes are both Vanilla with vanilla BC. The basket handle is fondant rolle very thin with 2 flower wires inside. I wrapped the handle around the outside of a 10" round cake pan & secured it with a bake even strip for 2 weeks. Then I stuck the handle into the 8"x4" round cake & iced it with a matching BC basketweave design. The grad cap base is made from 1/2 of the small sports ball pan set from Wilton & the top is fondant covered cardboard. The tassle is cross stitch yarn. The diploma is just flat fondant dried so it stands up.
