I made my first purse cake for my best friend's bday. It was a chocolate chocolate chip cake with a caramel and coffee (kaluha) buttercream and covered in fondant with a gumpaste flower. The handle broke when I went to put it on, so it went from a purse to a clutch. She loved it just the same!
