I made this for my son's 9th birthday It was chocolat cake with buttercream icing the dirt was crushed graham crakers! My husband took him and some friends to the game and this was waiting for them on there return!

He loved it! I liked the stars on yours it gave it a clean look this probably took just as long as the stars but probably not as teadeous. you are right there are alot of baseball cakes on here that gives me more ideas! I love the ones that look like the caps I am dying to do one like that to put on a cake
Wow, It took some hunting but I finally found your cake, theres alot of ball cakes on here! It looks great! See, I like the more grassy look, I wish I'd have use that tip instead of the stars on mine, but I'll be sure to do that next time. Was your son surprised when he saw it? I bet he loved it!
