This is a birthday cake I made for my FIL who is a coin collector. It is a 10 inch chocolate cake iced in buttercream. The image on the cake is an edible image of his face. My DH used a photoshop type program to give the photo an embossed appearance before I had it made into an edible image. The date is his birth year. I used a decorating comb to make vertical ridges around the edge and dry brushed with Nu Silver luster dust
