First Wedding Cake
The bride wanted a non-traditional winter theme cake for her January wedding. I created tiers of cupcakes baked in silver papers, iced in buttercream, sprinkled with cake glitter, with every other cupcake adorned with royal icing snowflakes. The 7" top tier (see Snowflake Tier photo) was decorated with royal icing snowflakes attached to sucker sticks. The snowflakes also had glitter sprinkled over them.

Beautiful job! ;-D
Very Nice!!!
Idea and pattern is from one of the Wilton wedding books (blue cover). First, I trace the pattern several times onto a sheet of paper. Then made several photo copies of the patterns. Next, I taped the patterns to jelly roll pans turned upside down, covered the patterns with wax paper sprayed lightly with non-stick spray. Using a small round tip, I traced the pattern with royal icing. When the snowflakes where completely dried I glued on the sticks with royal icing. These are fragile so make extras in cas

Beautiful! Very elegant.
