very elegant! Boonati, can I ask if the measure of grams on the orange rind is by weight or by volume? This recipe looks rich in flavor and I'd like to try it. Thanks for posting it. Also was wondering if you had the display custom made?
boonenati 1/27/07 at 6:12am
Christa im not sure about your question about the grams, i just use a scale to measure all my ingredients. Also the stand was custom made. I got the glass cirlces cut and polished by my brother in law at his company, and then bought the glass cups from IKEA, the base needed to be bigger so I used a floating candle bowl, which just happened to be the perfect size. I really like the look of it, and im really happy with how it turned out. Hopefully it will be returned in one piece ;)

Thanks Boonati. It's very beautiful. Re the use of the scale answers my question that you are measuring by weight so thanks again. I had three pieces of glass cut for wedding cakes last year but never thought of tiering them like this for cupcakes so thanks for that too!

This is gorgeous. What a great idea, I can see this as wedding cake as well, it's just elegant enough.
