A BIG thank you to "pish" and "jylbug" for your inspiration!!! I made this cake for my father-in-law's 60th birthday. The golf ball is a white cake with buttercream filling. The middle layer is orange mango and the bottom layer is chocolate with strawberry filling. Covered in fondant. The golfer dude is gumpaste and the rocks are candies. I made the golfer to resemble my father-in-law. It was supposed to be a keep-sake, like a cake topper, before he was murdered by my nephew! At least I got a picture!?!
