This is my 3rd one of these cakes. Everybody seems to go crazy over it. I was not so pleased with the color of the brown. I added cocoa to some ivory buttercream. The taste was good but the color was off, I should have just made some chocolate frosting, but I was crunched for time. I am really going to have to work on my time management. As, I said everyone goes nuts over this cake, so I just graciously accepted the compliments. But, I know it was not up to my standards, and I know that we can be our own worst critics.

BTW, the large round in vanilla poundcake with homemade strawberry filling and the smaller round half ball is strawberry cake.
