Two layer white cake, buttercream filling, Satin Ice fondant, buttercream piping and FAST dots! Wanted to try a fondant other than Wilton's. Like the flavor of the S. Ice....and it was easy to work with. I still don't like the fact that when I cut my fondant cakes, the fondant separates from the buttercream iced cake side. IS THIS NORMAL??????

I read somewhere that a good trick to keep the fondant stuck to the BC is to use a spray bottle and lightly mist the cold BC with water before laying on the fondant. I haven't tried it myself yet but it seems quite logical.
