This birthday cake was based on the movies, "The Corpse Bride" and "Coraline." It was my second "real" cake, and the first time I have used gumpaste on a cake. Modelling the figures was quite difficult, but overall, I liked how it turned out. My daughter loved it, and was thrilled with her favorite characters. No one wanted to eat it.
