The tutu is cut from fondant/gumpaste that I let dry. I then painted on it using just the wilton colors not mixed with anything. I know that that is probably not the correct way to do it. I'm new to doing anything like that. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Well.... I tried agian last night, and you are right. It was much better to use from the jar; but then you have the problem of the colors being to dark... I will post the cake I did last night. It was based off your design - Thank You!

I am learning too, and was wondering.... I have read to mix the color with lemon extract or vodka...
I tried that one time but used the clear vanilla extract. It ended up making a sticky looking sheen. I'm not sure what I did wrong.
