I made this for my daughter's 2nd birthday. Inspired by a much more beautiful cake here on CC. I just couldn't master the antennae (hadn't discovered gumpaste back then!) so I improvised and used drinking straws. Why I didn't think to use the candles, I don't know!

This was a white sponge cake covered in fondant.
